Nature of S.A.G.

on

(This another heart-warming poem was written by Nangkor Ngin Hom, a 13-year old Shan, Burmese girl and one of my former Level 6 students of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Institute of Higher Studies (S.A.G.~I.H.S.), a Jesuit-owned institute in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State, Myanmar. This is actually her first attempt in making her own poem in our English class, but it is also wonderful!)

The leaves on the trees

Dance with the beat.

The birds in the sky

Fly so high.

The lotus in the pool

Grows so cool.

The fish in the pool

Swim so cool.

The children in the school

Play beside the pool.

The breeze in the air

Keeps me to be fair!
